The Wind and the Sea was not one of my favorites of Canham's. I had difficulty liking the hero, Adrian, but he did grow on me. Courtney, on the other hand, was a strong heroine and I understand her determination to fight. Canham's dark moment was intriguing and I could not put down the book. The Wind the Sea. I had never read a story by Marsha Canham, but I must say that I am impressed by her execution and by her character development. I really liked this story, it is a long read, so don't expect to read it in one sitting. I could not put it down, though, which is great for me, as I am bed-ridden for a little while.
