Either Orson Scott Card's "Homebody" isn't my cup of tea, or he just didn't do as good a job of writing it as he usually does. Oh, the writing is technically well done and the characters are pretty good. But, the plot is really lacking. Homebody () is the third horror novel by Orson Scott Card. It takes place in modern day America. I have always enjoyed Orson Scott Card's forays into the more-or-less real world. While Homebody certainly has its fantastical elements, its setting is modern-day Greensboro, North Carolina, aka my home town.
